Have you ever slept at a hotel and hated the extra soft pillows that go flat by morning? I have. While feathery, fluffy pillows sound nice in theory, I’m just not a fan. I’d say that the WEEKENDER Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Pillow is a medium on the firmness scale. It feels soft, but it’s also very supportive. It cradles my head no matter how much I move throughout the night. Additionally, the ventilated gel is temperature regulating and cooling. I live in an apartment where the landlord controls the heat settings, and it’s always hot, so this is a major plus.

Nonetheless, I’m on a quest to make my bed feel ultra-luxurious, so I also covered my gel pillows with Bedsure’s satin pillowcases and combined them with Oprah’s favorite bamboo sheets from Cozy Earth. Now, I’m sleeping like a queen!

The WEEKENDER Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Pillow is $32 for the standard size, while a queen is $38, and a king size is $39.99. All sizes come with a removable, machine-washable cover. It’s a great deal considering many gel memory foam pillows can cost up to $100 or more elsewhere.

Alas, more than 19,000 Amazon shoppers give this pillow 5 out of 5 stars, too.

“Very comfortable! I like that it doesn’t seem to get too hot on warm nights, and it doesn’t freeze on cold ones,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “I fall asleep when I use this pillow much easier than when I don’t. It lets your head sink in more than a normal pillow, but not so much that you sink right through.”

If you’ve been looking for a new pillow, give the WEEKENDER gel pillow a shot. I have no complaints, but more importantly, no neck pain and no more sleepless nights.
